At Honeybees, we are committed to offering the wider range of possibilities children in a powerful environment where unique educational messages are being communicated to children. We strive to create a nurturing, safe, challenging, and creative environment where each child can build up their unique character and develop their potential.
Sensory play is so important for infants and toddlers' development. There are 7 senses that we each use on a daily basis. Yes I said 7, not 5.
So what are those 7 senses?
•Taste
•Touch
•Smell
•Hearing
•Sight
•Vestibular
•Proprioceptive
Honeybees new sensory program builds neural pathways that grow the architecture of the brain. The brain growth that occurs through sensory play enhances children’s senses, and their enhanced senses in turn make them better able to use those senses for learning.
Children’s early experiences – the bonds they form with their parents and their first learning experiences – deeply affect their future physical, cognitive, emotional and social development. In JK class, every child brings with them deep curiosity and potential and this innate curiosity drives their interest to understand their world and their place within it.
Communication is a process, a way of discovering things, asking questions, using language as play. Playing with sounds and rhythm and rhyme; delighting in the process of communicating. Children are encouraged to use language to investigate and explore, to reflect on their experiences. They are listened to with respect, believing that their questions and observations are an opportunity to learn and search together. It is a process; a continual process. A collaborative process. Rather than the child asking a question and the adult offering the answers, the search is undertaken together.
Enrollment is conducted on first come basis. Parents can submit application for their child's enrollment at any time throughout the year. You will be received the registration package via email . Please note that we will be accepting 12 children for our Infant and Toddler(IT) program and 25 children for our Junior Kindergarten(JK) program. We still encourage families to inquire and apply as some spots do become available due to families changing circumstances.
A $80.00 non-refundable application fee is required to secure the space for your child at the center.
Half of the monthly tuition will be required upon registration to secure the space for your child .
Families are asked to provide 6 post-dated cheques dated for the first of every month, which are required to be submitted to Honeybees
